Le Questions

  1. If you could pick three words to describe yourself, what would they be and why?
  • Stubborn. Because…well…I am. And everyone who knows me knows it to some extent LOL
  • Imaginative. Because I spend an unearthly amount of time daydreaming, and if I’m not doing that, I’m pretty much always either reading or writing.
  • Introverted. Because even though I love people and finding friends, I think I’ll probably always have an innate fear of people 🤣

2. What book do you return to time and again?

Dust by Kara Swanson. I don’t think I truly knew the meaning of the phrase “comfort book” until I read this one. I always flip through it when I’m feeling down, and it’ll always hold a special place in my heart for many reasons. 🥹

3. What is your favorite book to shove into people’s hands?

Hehe…Dust by Kara Swanson and also Romanov by Nadine Brandes. I have recommended them to friends, family, and coworkers. I LOVE those books!!!

4. Which season is your favorite? Why?

It is a very, very, VERY close tie between Spring and Autumn. Both of them have so many beautiful qualities, but right now, at this very moment, I’d have to say that Spring is my favorite because it’s the season of new life, beautiful weather, and it just makes me happy LOL.

5. What book character reminds you the most of yourself?

Probably Katniss Everdeen from The Hunger Games. Definitely not because I’m skilled with a bow 🤣🤣 And also the main character from my first novel (not sure if that counts, but she’s basically a self-insert, so…LOL)

6. In a moment of dire need, you raid the refrigerator. What food item do you grab first?

LEFTOVER PIZZA

Hmm…if the aforementioned isn’t an option, then probably the cheese. It’s protein and goes down a lot easier than peanut butter *nod nod*

7. Outside of reading or writing, what is a hobby you enjoy, and how were you introduced to it?

*tries to remember if I even have hobbies outside of reading or writing*

Um….

…..

I guess singing. I’ve been singing in church choirs since I was five and haven’t stopped since, so it’s become something of an outlet to be able to use my voice to praise God and simultaneously use my emotions to enhance it.

8. What is your go-to board or card game with a group of friends or family?

Uno. Without a doubt. Basically anyone of any age can play it, and it requires very little mental energy 👌

9. Science or history?

Definitely history. Listen, I know God’s creation is beautiful and wonderful and just hands-down amazing, but WHY DO PEOPLE HAVE TO MAKE LEARNING ABOUT IT SO PAINFUL?!?!?!?

*cough* Just saying.

So yeah, history all the way 🤣

10. If you could take a course on any obscure topic you pleased, what would you pick?

Prolly something like “The Art of Not Being Socially Awkward” or perhaps just “The Art of Being Social”….#introvertprobs

11. If your readers take away only one thing from your blog, what do you want it to be?

I want people who read my blog to be encouraged and inspired to create, to enjoy life and live it to the fullest, while also loving and praising God, the Source and Summit of Life. Ultimately, I want my readers to know that life is beautiful.

  1. I’m so glad you did it!! Dust has been on my TBR for a minute here, but I haven’t gotten around to reading it yet… I’ll have to pick it up the next time I’m at the library 😉

Singing in church really is a wonderful thing, and Uno is a great one to play with a variety of people! Life is so beautiful, and you’re doing a great job showing us that!
